Explore the Similkameen Valley Wineries on horseback during our 3 hour or 5 hour tours. Our 3 hour tours offer 3 different wineries and the 5 hour tours we visit 5 prestigious wineries. Starting at The Grist Mill, we ride through vineyards to Robin Ridge Winery, Clos Du Soleil Winery, and Hugging Tree Winery. After a lunch break at The Farm Store, we continue along the old rail line to Orofino Winery, ending at The Crowsnest Winery and Restaurant. Lunch and tasting fees included.

We accommodate up to 4 guests per tour! So join us on either the 3 or the 5 hour journey with an unforgettable blend of vineyards and equestrian thrills at our introductory rate of $250/person for the 3 hours or $350/person for the 5 hour tour. When booking we require a payment of 50% of your riders fee. You will be emailed the details about this when booking. Cancelation fewer than 7 days prior to your tour will result in no refunds.

At Equines and Wine, safety is paramount. To ensure horse and rider safety, we follow general guidelines for rider weight. The average rider's "safe zone" is under 200lbs and a general rule is a horse can carry approximately 20% of its body weight, considering our horses' weight range of 900-1000lbs. Closed-toed and heeled boots are mandatory, while we supply helmets for our riders, we also highly suggest that jeans, long socks and sunscreen be worn. Waivers must be read over and signed before the ride for liability purposes. Although our well-trained horses ensure a comfortable journey and rides are conducted at a walk only, remember that horse riding carries inherent risks.
